Quick Start
Start using MASHUP STEMS in minutes.
- Insert MASHUP STEMS on a track in an AU or VST3 host.
- Click the large input panel to choose an audio file. In compatible DAWs, you can also drop a standard audio file onto the panel.
- Press ACAPELLA, INSTRUMENTAL, or ACAPELLA + INSTRUMENTAL.
- Follow the moving progress bar. The selected control glows red while processing.
- Drag either finished WAV from the lower result panel into your DAW.
Understand every major control and workflow.
ACAPELLA creates a vocal-focused stem.
INSTRUMENTAL creates a music-focused stem.
ACAPELLA + INSTRUMENTAL creates both results together in one processing job.
The active button turns red during processing. Press that same active red button again to cancel.
The progress bar continues updating throughout the job so the plug-in never appears frozen.
Finished stems appear as separate WAV files in the lower panel and may be dragged independently into the DAW.
Ableton Live users must click the input panel to import a rendered audio file; Live does not send Arrangement or Session clips to third-party plug-in windows as standard file drops.
Other compatible DAWs may support both click-to-import and standard audio-file drag-and-drop.
Install or update the current release safely.
Close your audio applications before installation.
Open the signed MASHUP STEMS package and complete the macOS installer.
Audio Unit installs to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components.
VST3 installs to /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3.
Activate, verify, or move your license.
Open MASHUP STEMS in a supported host.
Paste the license key shown in My Account or your purchase email.
Select ACTIVATE and wait for confirmation.
Close and reopen the plug-in after successful activation.
A license supports up to two computers.
