Quick Start
Start using Mashup Master in minutes.
Build a clean master
- Insert Mashup Master last on the stereo master or export bus.
- Start playback at the loudest section and set Input without clipping the input meters.
- Choose the target that matches the destination.
- Leave Auto Release on for the first pass and compare Low Latency with Mastering quality.
- Watch gain reduction, loudness, and the stereo master-output meters while listening for movement and punch.
- Level-match Bypass before deciding whether the master is better.
User Guide
Understand every major control and workflow.
Input and targets
Input drives the mastering system. Targets guide loudness and delivery behavior for different destinations; they do not replace critical listening.
Ceiling and true peak
Ceiling sets the maximum final level. True-peak measurement checks inter-sample peaks that ordinary sample meters can miss.
Release and stereo link
Auto Release follows the program automatically. Stereo Link keeps left and right gain movement coherent; lower settings allow more independence but require careful monitoring.
Quality modes
Low Latency is for responsive auditioning. Mastering quality is intended for the final render and uses the most accurate processing path.
Meters and reset
Input, gain-reduction, loudness, and stereo master-output meters show what the limiter is doing. Meter holds clear automatically when audio stops. Bypass must remain neutral so loading the plug-in does not change level or tone by itself.
