Start using Mashup EFX in minutes.

Build your first transition

  1. Insert Mashup EFX on a track, DJ-edit bus, or transition bus. The processing modules begin dry or neutral, so inserting the plug-in should not change the sound.
  2. Hold the XY pad and move left or right to select a roll length. Move vertically to add pitch movement. Rise and Reverse are ready by default.
  3. Raise CHOP Mix, Delay Mix, or Reverb Mix one at a time to hear what each stage contributes. CHOP begins in Free mode with Square selected; Delay begins at 1/8 D.
  4. Drag a numbered six-dot module handle to change the processing order. Watch the orange ghost destination, then release the module.
  5. Use Stop Time and Start Time, then press START / STOP for a tape-style slowdown or pitch-accelerated restart.
  6. Blend the finished chain against the original signal with the oversized Master Mix control.
  7. Save the DAW session. The controls, module order, active modes, preset choice, and window size are recalled.
