Intro Lab 1.1.0

Intro Lab 1.1.0 — Release notes - Intro Lab is now available for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Both builds require macOS 13.5 or later and use the same paid license or eligible three-day trial. - The time display now starts at Export In and follows the selected export range. Moving In or Out updates the clock without moving the audio, bars, or beat grid. - New profiles default to four-bar phrases, frequency-colored waveforms, and automatic Serato cue points. Saved preferences are preserved. - Audio keeps a stable project sample rate. Stems and layers with different rates are properly converted before mixing to preserve speed, pitch, and duration. - Targeted beat-timing safeguards reduce isolated corrections that disagree with nearby beats while retaining the existing detector. - English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, French, and German are available in the interface, native menus, and guided tour. - Failed imports now show a visible error without losing the current edit. Silent or extremely short audio shows an insufficient-audio warning instead of an incorrect tempo. - External drag-and-drop data is checked more carefully. The approved native playback engine and existing licensing rules are retained.

Intro Lab 0.1.124

Intro Lab Beta 124 — Changes since Beta 123 Apple Silicon NEW FEATURES • Optional frequency-colored waveforms for the loaded song and built Intro Layer clips. Choose Normal or Frequency colors in Settings > Appearance. Normal remains the default. • A guided, hands-on tour with separate automatic and manual paths. Each step points to the relevant controls and waits for its action. Check the loop ending close up, then widen the view to preview, build, position, trim and fade before listening and exporting. Back, End Tour, Replay and Show me where remain available. The tour appears on startup unless “Don’t show this again” is selected, and can be reopened from Help. • An optional DJ name in Settings > Export, with filename and title-tag previews. The name appears before the intro/outro description inside the existing parentheses. Leave it blank to keep the existing format. The original artist tag is preserved. • Exported BPM metadata rounds to the nearest whole number: 89.97 and 89.51 become 90; 89.49 becomes 89. Analysis, the beat grid and playback tempo are not rounded by this feature. • Optional automatic Serato cue points for WAV and MP3. The saved switch is OFF by default in Settings > Export. When enabled, cue 1 marks the intro start, cue 2 marks Intro Lab zero, and cue 3 marks the outro start. Missing points or points outside the export are omitted without renumbering the remaining slots. • New settings and guided-tour copy are available in English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. FIXES AND RELIABILITY • Space no longer activates focused tour navigation buttons; playback can be started and stopped without accidentally advancing or ending the tour. • Session changes are blocked while a manual stem build is running, and stale build results cannot commit into a newer session. • Saved projects reopen with their source, clips and edits. Keep the project file and its companion asset folder together. • Open Recent uses a native hover submenu without a separate shortcut and remembers loaded songs without requiring a saved session. • Different songs with the same filename and file size have distinct recent-history identities based on their contents. Loading the same filename with identical contents refreshes its existing entry. • History entries that exceed the existing storage allowance no longer consume slots or displace smaller entries that fit. The history limit remains up to ten retained entries within 256 MiB. • An unreadable replacement song no longer clears the current saved-project association before decoding succeeds. Save continues to use the existing project location after that failure. • Stalled stem and MP3 workers have timeout handling and cleanup rather than waiting indefinitely. • Analysis transfer uses less encoding overhead while preserving the input audio bytes. Repeated project saves reuse unchanged audio assets. • Tour targets, arrows, cue targeting, zoom guidance, progress containment and narrow-region Build visibility were improved. QUALITY AND SCOPE Native desktop playback and the existing stem/export quality settings are retained. These changes do not establish an overall speed improvement; a controlled end-to-end performance comparison has not been completed. Serato recognition was confirmed by the user on the preview that introduced cue export. Beta testing remains important across songs and supported Macs. INSTALLATION Requires an Apple Silicon Mac with macOS Ventura 13.5 or later. Save your edit and quit Intro Lab before installing. Preserve older rollback installers. This package does not publish a website update or send tester announcements.

Intro Lab 0.1.123

# Intro Lab Beta 123 — Changes since Beta 122 - Restores the approved native desktop playback engine used in Beta 121 and prevents packaging without it. - Improves playhead and elapsed-time recovery so an individual display error cannot block the other indicators. - Rejects invalid or frozen audio timing readings and uses a valid audio-clock fallback. - Prevents overlapping song imports and adds recovery deadlines for reading, decoding and background processing. Adaptive analysis falls back to the standard grid if its process times out. - Keeps playback and the ruler aligned when creating a cue adds space before the song, without restarting audio. - Uses plain installer text without highlights or dark boxes, checked in light and dark appearance. Developer ID signed and Apple-notarized. Apple Silicon; macOS 13.5 or later. The affected tester confirmed this exact build works correctly on an M2 Max Mac running Ventura 13.7.8.

Intro Lab 0.1.122

# Intro Lab Beta 122 — Changes since Beta 121 - Editing: more precise close-zoom cuts and trims with Snap Off. Normal trimming returns to the visible ruler after a Command trim, and built clips can extend back to their original audio boundaries. - Ghosts and built intros: changing length or Instrumental/Acapella affects the next intro without changing completed clips. A newly dropped ghost replaces previous unbuilt ghosts while keeping built audio. Pickups at a joined song edit no longer include the deleted source interval. - Monitor volume: remembers your level across New Session and app restarts, without changing export levels. Dragging stops correctly after release, cancellation, or switching away. - Playback and reliability: improved recovery after a failed playback start or seek. Stem processing drains worker output without blocking and validates both completed stem files before reusing cached results. - Licensing: refresh failures recheck a valid saved signed lease without extending its expiry. Revoked, invalid, and expired access remains blocked. - Interface: improved single-row header layout at the minimum window size, reduced top spacing, visible resize grip, and fixed-size license-status badges. - Welcome and access screens: updated multilingual welcome, activation, expired-trial, and beta-ended screens, with purchase and activation options appropriate to the access state. - Export and updates: clearer guidance and a Build Clips action when unfinished clips block export; default export shortcut Shift–Command–E. Smoother startup and optional update notices that preserve the active editing session. - Requirements: Apple Silicon Mac with macOS Ventura 13.5 or later. Intel Macs are not supported. Internet access is required for activation and periodic access checks. - Playback timing: keeps the audio timeline aligned when pre-roll changes during playback. - Export responsiveness: large audio transfers and peak-check conversions run in a background worker while retaining existing limiter and MP3 quality settings. Beat-detector preparation also includes performance improvements.

Intro Lab 0.1.121

# Intro Lab Beta 121 ## Bug fixes - Improved rapid Mute, Unmute, and Solo switching with smoother gain transitions while playback keeps running. - Fixed unsnapped scissors cuts: hold Option and Command to cut at the preview line's exact pointer position. - Prevented song drops outside the import area from replacing the editor with a built-in audio player. - Removed the unwanted right-click Reload menu from the app surface. Text-editing menus and the ruler's grid correction remain available. ## Performance improvements - Faster Apple Silicon stem processing on Macs with sufficient memory, using the same model and quality settings. The app automatically keeps the lower-memory mode on smaller Macs or when memory pressure is high. Actual speed varies by Mac, song, and phrase length. - Faster MP3 export using the bundled native encoder at the same 320 kbps setting, with artwork and credits retained. Actual export time depends on the arrangement and Mac. Automatic Intro, the editing previews, and navigation during stem builds remain available.

Intro Lab 0.1.120

# Intro Lab 0.1.120 Beta RC ## Bug fixes - Fixed a playback freeze that could occur when muting and unmuting a track while the song played. - Smoothed Mute, Unmute, and Solo transitions to remove clicks, pops, and stutter. Stop now fades out briefly to prevent a pop. ## New and improved - The scissors tool shows a cut-position line before you click. With Snap on, it follows the ruler. Hold Option and Command to preview and cut at the exact pointer position without snapping. - Trim edges and fade handles are easier to see, and the beta build label is larger. - You can scroll and zoom while stems build. The progress and completion message stay attached to the region being processed. Automatic Intro, including its placement preview and Undo workflow, remains available.

Intro Lab 0.1.119

# Intro Lab 0.1.119 Beta RC - Create an intro automatically: set the first cue and double-click a four-, eight-, or sixteen-bar phrase cue. - Auto Intro builds the selected phrase and trims Full Song to one bar before zero only after a successful build. - The wand enables Auto Intro or keeps the manual workflow. The automatic action runs once; Undo restores the arrangement and enables it again. - Hover over a phrase cue to preview placement. A single flying ghost moves into place while building, then becomes the normal pending region. - Update notices use the app's selected language: English, Spanish, or Portuguese, with English as fallback when a translation is unavailable. Apple Silicon Mac · macOS 12 or later. Private beta access required.

Intro Lab 0.1.116 Beta RC

Intro Lab 0.1.116 Beta RC - Approved cue, loop, ruler, snapping, trimming, undo, and viewport behavior - Improved beat-grid tracking for gradual tempo drift and late-song downbeats - First cue becomes bar zero; earlier cues can transfer the ruler origin without moving audio - 4-, 8-, and 16-bar loops stay aligned before or after the Full Song - MP3 is the default export format; WAV remains available - Added the approved icon, splash, private beta activation, connection recovery, feedback, and Beta Ended offer - Signed, notarized, stapled, and verified as a self-contained macOS app
